What is mushr

One system for the whole farm.

From logging substrate to sending invoices. mushr handles the admin so you can focus on the real work — growing.

Why mushr exists

The admin is always behind. Every week.

Anyone who grows knows this. At seven in the evening you're standing there with a clipboard full of numbers that still need to go into Excel. Friday night you're doing invoices. And when an organic audit comes around, you spend two days scrolling through emails to figure out who bought what when.

mushr handles that whole line: log substrate, track rooms, weigh harvests, sell, invoice the customer, UBL to the bookkeeper. All in one place. You never have to type the same thing twice.

We built mushr with Koert Pleunis. Koert grows mushrooms in Kinrooi and Stramproy and ran into exactly these problems. Since 2021 he's used mushr for every batch.

Two layers

Mushr Core is here. Mushr Live is coming.

The six modules on this page — from substrate to organic control — are Mushr Core. That's what runs today at Pleunis in Belgium and the Netherlands. Mushr Live is the layer that's coming: where you now log what you did, mushr will measure it as it happens. How the two layers relate to renting or buying lives on the pricing page.

01 · Substrate

Which supplier did that bag come from? And how much do I have left?

Substrate delivery slips on a clipboard, stock guessed by eye, and when a complaint comes in — half a day tracing which supplier delivered the disappointing batch.

Every delivery gets its own batch — supplier, date, weight. You see stock in real time, per growing room and per species. Complaint? One click back to the supplier.

Fewer clipboards Real-time stock Every bag traceable

From substrate bag to sold mushroom: one chain, one identity.

02 · Grow & harvest

Who harvested what, on what date, in which room — without a clipboard?

Paper picking lists unreadable after a week, harvest weights estimated, and by month-end guessing how much actually came out of a room.

Every grow production gets its own card: substrate in, picks on it. Harvest weight goes straight into the system — today via web, soon via NFC tap on the POW. The cycle is complete.

Every pick lands in mushr on the day it happens.

03 · Sales & stock

Am I sure every order from today ends up on the right invoice?

Orders on WhatsApp, in email, over the phone. End of day, reconstructing what went where — and hoping the invoice next month still adds up.

Order in mushr, tied directly to a customer and a batch. Farm-shop basket, phone order, auction slip — all in one place. Work across two sites? The border between your companies is one click.

04 · Invoices

How many Excel evenings per month? Why not one click?

Saturday-night invoices built in Excel, exported to PDF, emailed off, hoping the customer opens them. End of month: hand-exporting for the bookkeeper.

Invoices roll out of your sales automatically — in your house style, with your logo, colors, footer and organic certificate. Looks like your designer built it. One click: PDF to the customer. Second click: UBL/CSV export to your bookkeeper, or straight into the Peppol network.

05 · Organic control & track & trace

Audit next month. How many evenings am I going to lose to preparing the file?

Preparing an audit is days of sorting slips, printing emails, and hoping the history holds up. Certisys, Skal or GlobalGAP want precise answers — those don't live in Excel.

mushr tracks the whole chain: which substrate lot, which room, which harvest, which destination. During an audit, you click through the auditor's questions instead of digging up emails. Export as PDF or CSV, ready for the auditor.

06 · Multi-site

Two sites, one chain — can a batch that starts at one, finish at the other?

Tracking each site separately means double admin, and sales that cross the border fall between the cracks. At Pleunis, substrate starts in Kinrooi and harvest ships from Stramproy — that has to stay one chain.

Batches, sales and stock are federated across your sites. You see Biochamp and Mushrooms as one company without the separate books blurring into each other. The border between your sites is a filter, not a wall.

What starts in Kinrooi can finish in Stramproy — without typing it in again.
